We're going to start advertising Clan Lord, but we don't have any marketing people, so we need your help.

Web Page

We need a cool web page that tricks people into joining our world.

As you can see, I suck at web pages, and you can do better.

It should be clear, and simple, and include:

  • How to download.
  • How to purchase.
  • What's cool about the game.

    • No limitations. I like web pages that load fast, and it has to run on our server. Multiple pages is OK if you must. I'm personally fond of screen shots.

    Banner Ad

    We need banners that will trick interested people into going to the great page described above.

    You know more than me about banners.

  • The #1 size seems to be 468x60, but we'll look at anything.
  • If you make a funny size, you have to tell us where we can use it.
  • I figure if it rocks, it can probably be resized. Somehow.
  • Animations and whatnot are fine, right?

    Use "Clan Lord contest" as the subject, so my spam filter doesn't eat you. It's mean!

    All submissions become property of Delta Tao, though of course we'll be happy to give you credit.

    Feel free to use images from the game and web site. Duh.

    Winners will be determined solely by Joe, though he's been known to listen to others from time to time.

    If you have ideas how to improve this contest, let Joe know.

    Grand Prizes (2)

    The best web page and the best banner will each get to design an invasion, at the time and place of your choosing. Many GMs will be available to slay players in droves at your bidding. Or if that doesn't suit you, we'll work with you. You won!

    Other Prizes

    We're going to use lots of stuff, not just the big winners. If we use your submission, you'll get a crappy prize, like an old t-shirt, free time or characters, serial numbers for your friends, chocolate, coins, or something. Something way lame compared to the cool thing you deserve. But something.
