To all who read these precepts, the following transcript of this trial is true and correct, to the best of my knowledge.

[Haengemie] <standard pre-trial court briefing>
[Marmoset] I overheard Draupnir speak horrible words.
[Marmoset] He says he is a knight, but he was not courteous.
[Marmoset] He called Lady Babajaga a "slut". This is terrible, and we know it is a lie.

[Draupnir] Sleipnir did bring great dishonor to the family name, and grief did fill my bosom
[Draupnir] That I chastised him is true, but it was a private matter between me and my brother
[Draupnir] I was exiled because of his actions

[Marmoset] Yet he failed to abide by knightly conduct as we know it here.

[Marmoset] He also committed the most horrible slander against Lady Babajaga.
[Marmoset] Draupnir asks, "Who be this slut that is thy wife?"
[Marmoset] He also alleged that Sleipnir is "no knight."

[Draupnir] The vow Marmoset claims I broke is one I never made. There are many orders of knighthood.
[Draupnir] Marmoset is comlaining about an exchange between brothers she overheard
[Draupnir] I have the right to express my grief
[Draupnir] I apologize for any grief I did cause Babajage, who seems to be beautious and intelligent
[Draupnir] Sleipnir be not a knight as I know them, thus my statement was my belief
[Draupnir] Please do not punish me for my belief
[Draupnir] If Sleipnir will repent of the wrong he hath done, then there will be nothing between us
[Draupnir] But he will not
[Draupnir] And thus it stands between me and my dear brother
