Dead End: ***

Dead End is a zero budget horror flick that works. Yes, any genre fan knows every cliche before it appears, but this is still a pleasing little movie.

I recently read a book called "Eats, Shoots & Leaves " about the decline of punctuation in writing. After I rated Dead End on the Internet Movie Database, I scanned the reviews, so I could recommend one, presumably pushing it closer to the top of the review list. In over a dozen reviews, I couldn't find a single one that used grammar reasonably well. My favorite was this gem of a sentence:

"It's one of those movies that makes you wonder kind of sat back and say "HUH" it's obvious that the people are dead and died in the crash which I kind of figured had happened when all the watches stopped at 7.30 (there is a movie similar to this but can't recall the name) but as far as the woman in white and the guy in the black car (the collector) they're parts are to make you wonder and draw your own conclusions."

Breathe, damn you, breathe!
