Barracuda Spam Firewall

afternoon!
Our buddies over at
Barracuda asked for a testimonial for their spam firewall we've been testing.
Is it too much?
Once upon the time, I
had the foolish gall to start charging money for a product that once had a free
beta period. This annoyed one customer so much that he exacted the ultimate
revenge: He signed me up for one of those "Please spam me until my eyes bleed"
lists, under the name "Youhaben Screwed." Turns out he was right -- Ihaben
screwed. Despite all efforts to stop it, over the next four years my spam rate
climbed upwards of 500 per day. Despite my growing list of elaborate filters,
it became harder and harder to find my legitimate email amongst the garbage.
"Dear Youhaben: Would you like low mortgage rates, 5 million email addresses
(including yours), and a large penis?" Yuk. Enter the Barracuda Spam Firewall.
Hooray! The day we hooked it up, we had an immediate 95% spam reduction, with
80% of the remaining spam correctly tagged for my quick deletion. Reading email
is no longer agony. I finally have free time to enlarge my penis.
